Little Miss Swift has revealed the name and bottle of her second fragrance, and it’s a bit of an understatement to say it’s kind of a mouthful (or noseful… geddit?)
Eau de Swift #2 is named “Wonderstruck Enchanted“. No, not “Enchanted”, which would have been perfect, but a combination of that and the name of her first fragrance, and while I should be ecstatic that Taylor decided to squeeze two of my favourite words together, I’m actually crossing my arms because it just sounds a little off. These words are so powerful, they are perfect stand-alones; together they seem overdone. Oh Taylor.
Now that my rant is over, I can finally introduce the scent itself!
This one seems more mature than the first, drifting away from Wonderstruck’s somewhat sickly sweet fragrance (hey, it’s hard to create a scent that screams “magic!” without lots of sugary goodness!)
"An Oriental Gourmand, Wonderstruck Enchanted introduces a new dimension to the Wonderstruck portfolio, with an irresistible blend of luscious wild berries and sugar-glazed petals, wrapped in a touch of sensuality for a captivating signature. Wonderstruck Enchanted’s addictive balance of creamy flowers and sensual woods blends harmoniously and adds an alluring quality to the fragrance." - TaylorSwift.com

Top notes: wild berries, pink poppy, passionfruit Heart: peony, champaca, freesia Base: vanilla, white musk, blonde woods (Fragrantica)
To me, the bold, scarlet bottle seems to have an unmistakable exotic, Middle Eastern feel to reflect the oriental-gourmand scent. This time round, the charms include a bird, flower, leaf and sparkling crystal – “things we find in the world that don’t have to be anything more than what they are naturally”.
Wonderstruck Enchanted shimmies into stores October 2012 (US only) – no word about overseas arrivals yet. Myer has yet to reply to my inquiry about Selena Gomez’s debut so I’m not holding my breath just yet!
